This collection on the greatest international cartoonists comes from the interest Ettore Viola had for “d’auteur” comics. He shows them to us through portraits, at times “immersed” among their characters and their drawings, at times just surrounded by their peculiar elements. Here, frames are also important, becoming part of the portrait and serving as “additional tools” in order to give a complete presentation of the characters created by these great authors.
